Converse Flip Flops

Converse Flip Flops

Converse is one of America’s most popular shoe brands. The company is nowhere near as big as corporations like Nike, Adidas, etc, but they have a loyal following that continues to buy their products. Plus, Converse is good at appealing to kids and teens, which is a huge portion of the retail market, especially as far as shoes are involved (considering changing foot sizes and increased spending in teens). Recently, Converse came out with flip flops. These Converse flip flops are not yet available everywhere, but they are gaining popularity. I expect within the next few years, you’ll be seeing a lot more Converse flip flops around. I don’t know if they’re going to blow up like their classic sneakers did, but I already see their popularity increasing rapidly.

The Converse Legacy

Converse, as a shoe company, has its roots in 1908. Marquis Mills Converse started a small rubber shoe company, which would quickly expand and come to dominate the market. Converse has always been for people who don’t like to conform – i.e. independent people that like to be different. In a early Converse catalogue produced in 1913, a caption read “Our company was organized in 1908… a rubber shoe company that would be independent enough not to follow every other company in everything they do.” After they made it big with the All Star basketball sneaker, the company continued to gain fans and followers. Today, Converse is known for high-quality retro products – most famously of which is the original All Star sneaker.

A Quality Flip Flop

Converse is definitely not expensive, but their shoes are made pretty well. And Converse flip flops are no different. The quality of a Converse flip flop compared to the average pair you’d pick up at Target or a similar store is much better. The price, on the other hand, is just about the same. Converse flip flops cost around $15-$30, depending on where you get them and what type it is. I can personally say that my Converse flip flops lasted longer than any other pair I have ever owned, even though they were only $13. Plus, fans of Converse will love the iconic star that is on most Converse products, including their flip flops.

Availability

Converse flip flops are not very popular yet. Because of this, they are not available in many stores yet. If you want to find a nice pair, your best bet is to look online. Not only can you find the best selection online, the prices are also lower generally, as the markups don’t have to be as high. Converse itself does not sell flip flops on their website, but there are a number of merchant sites that do. You can also find them on sites like eBay and other digital marketplaces. The prices might vary due to the low availability, so be sure to shop around to find the best deal.
